My family lives in a desert climate. A few weeks ago we had a heat wave and my daughter was walking home. She saw some kittens out in the heat and a woman was coming to feed them. This touched my heart. I was thinking about how hot it was outside and how horrible it was for the kittens to be out in the elements with only the shelter of a few trees, relying on a kind old woman to keep them fed. This is not acceptable to me or my family. So the idea for this blog and a non profit organization to help animals was born.
